Who can fill in a form?

We want to hear from anyone who lives, or runs a business, within the boundary of the designated area for the Bodmin Neighbourhood Plan, shown in the map here. Everyone is entitled to have their say and we are hoping as many people as possible take this opportunity.

Can I complete the survey on paper?

Yes, we recognise that not everyone will want to do the survey online so if you, or someone you know, would like to complete the survey on paper, paper copies can be collected/dropped off at the following locations:   Pick up and Collection Point Locations and Open Hours Shire Hall Reception at Mount Folly - Open from 9-12, 12.30 -4 pm Monday – Friday The Old Library and others (TBC)   Our preference would be for people to complete the survey online as we will need fewerpaper copies, reducing both cost and environmental impact.

Yes. All of your responses will be kept confidential in accordance with the privacy policy that you can find on the plan Bodmin website at www.planbodmin.co.uk/privacy

How long will it take to complete the form?

We recognise that there are a lot of questions and we estimate that it will take a maximum of 30 minutes to complete it. We hope that you can find the time. The questions are simple to understand, there is no jargon or technical stuff and there are no right or wrong answers. Just tell us what you think.

When is the Closing Date?

We will close the survey, for both paper copies and online responses, on the 1st September 2021 so you have plenty of time to get it completed.

The questions are in 7 sections: 1. You and your household 2. Bodmin as a place to live 3. Future transformation of Bodmin Town Centre 4. Balance of housing growth with provision of infrastructure and essential services 5. Future housing development 6. Business and employment 7. Traffic, transport and parking   They are designed to give all residents the opportunity to give their views about these important topics. Advice for online completion

Accepted Answer

Try to complete the survey in one sitting, as the form cannot be saved at any point. You can start and come back to it, as long as you have not closed off the window/application. There is no time limit once you start. Ensure you submit your response, no matter how much you have completed, otherwise your answers will not be recorded. Some questions include drop down arrows, especially when viewing on a smaller screen, ensure you click on the arrow to access the options.
